⚠️ This is NOT a design, CAD, CAM programming or 3D printing job. Nothing new is made, modelled or programmed. We only want files that already exist from real production.
Start your bid with your shop name, city and machine list (make, model, control). Bids without them will be ignored.
What we’re looking for
Machine shops (or people with the shop owner’s permission) that have past 3-axis milling jobs programmed in Fusion 360 and machined on their own machines. Everyday mechanical parts are ideal: brackets, plates, housings, fixtures, or your own products.
Files from a shop that has since closed or stopped production also qualify, as long as the parts were really machined and you have the right to share the files.
For each part, we need the files you already have:
3D model (STEP)
The original Fusion 360 file (.f3d) with the CAM setup, tools and toolpaths used in production
The G-code exactly as it ran on the machine: one file per setup the part actually used (1, 2, 3 or more). Re-posted or regenerated code does not qualify.
The 2D drawing (PDF) with dimensions and tolerances
A short info file (we provide the template): material, city, machine make/model/control, setups, how the part was held, and when it was machined
What doesn’t qualify
Parts designed, modelled or programmed for this project
Customer parts under NDA, or defence and aerospace parts
Files you don’t have the right to share
How we verify: we check that the model, drawing, Fusion file and G-code all match each other and the machine and control you list. Photos of your machines are welcome but optional.
Pilot and payment
Pilot: 5 different parts, all 3-axis milling, from jobs in the past year
USD 100 via a funded Freelancer.com milestone, set up once you’ve shared your shop details and before you send any files
+ USD 100 bonus once all 5 parts are approved
Review within 24 hours. If anything is missing, we tell you exactly what.
After the pilot: repeat batches at USD [20] per accepted part, at a pace that suits you
To bid, reply with:
One example of a past job you could share: what the part is and roughly when it was machined
