Subject to suitable security protection you will be requested to review the supplied architectural specification of a mobile app in its entirety.
From this you will be required to: Determine whether, in your qualified professional opinion, any feature, proposed operation, processing activity, contractual arrangement or intended publication practice contravenes, or would require modification because of, any applicable law or regulation in the United Kingdom, United States of America or Canada. Identify the legal, regulatory, registration, notification, assessment, contractual, policy, privacy, consumer, data-protection, online-safety or other requirement that must be completed or satisfied before the mobile app may lawfully commence public operation in those territories. Complete, or prepare for the mobile app to complete, all registrations, notifications and legal documentation that you are professionally able and authorised to complete, and provide precise instructions for anything that must be completed by the mobile app or another party.
You will be required to distinguish clearly between (1) matters that are legally mandatory before launch, (2) matters that you strongly recommend before launch but which are not legally mandatory, and (3) matters that can safely be addressed after launch.
You will be required to assess the architecture as supplied rather than redesigning it unless a legal requirement makes a particular change necessary. Where you consider a change necessary, explain precisely why.
The objective is to establish whether the mobile app can lawfully commence public operation in the United Kingdom, United States of America and Canada before Christmas 2026, and, if not, identify precisely what prevents that and what must be done to remove the obstacles. The lawyer must state explicitly if something is outside their expertise particular US state, Canadian province, EU country, tax area, payment matter, or other specialist field.
