I’m putting together a small, stand-alone digital hygrometer that simply shows real-time temperature and relative humidity on an LCD. No Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or data-logging complexity is required—just accurate sensing, a clear screen, and reliable operation.

Here is the essence of what I need:
• Accurate temperature and humidity sensing (±0.5 °C / ±3 % RH or better is ideal).
• An easy-to-read, low-power LCD that presents both values at a glance.
• Clean firmware that boots quickly and updates readings at a sensible interval without flicker.
• A compact electronics design I can send straight to fabrication: schematic, PCB files, BOM, and a brief assembly/testing guide.

If you have a preferred sensor family (SHT3x, BME280, DHT series, etc.) or MCU platform (AVR, STM32, ESP-free), feel free to suggest it—long-term parts availability is more important to me than brand. I’ll handle enclosure design once the electronics are final, so board outline and mounting hole recommendations are welcome.

Acceptance criteria
1. Prototype on my bench passes a 24-hour stability check against a reference meter.
2. Display remains legible from at least 1 m in typical indoor lighting.
3. Source files are delivered in their native formats (KiCad or Altium for hardware, C/C++ or Arduino IDE for firmware).

Let me know your chosen sensor, projected accuracy, and the timeline you can realistically meet, and I’ll get parts ordered right away.
