Laravel Optimization & Feature Enhancements

I need an experienced Laravel developer to help me bring our application up to date and running at peak performance. The codebase needs a version bump to the latest stable Laravel release, followed by careful fine-tuning that targets three fronts: shaving milliseconds off load times, hunting down lingering bugs, and laying the groundwork for new functionality.

On the feature side, I want tighter, more flexible user authentication, a more insightful and visually polished dashboard, and a refreshed layout that feels modern without disrupting existing workflows. While those pieces are being put in place, please keep future interoperability in mind—we intend to link this Laravel site with its WordPress twin so data can flow in both directions (A ↔ B). Any architectural or package decisions that will make that easier later are a plus.
