I’m building a full-featured social networking app for both iOS and Android and need someone who can take it from concept to store release. The goal is to deliver a smooth, modern experience centred on three pillars: a news feed, rich user profiles, and an integrated messaging system.
Core experience
• News feed that supports text, images, short video, and allows users to like and comment in real time.
• User profiles with editable bios, avatar upload, follower/following logic, and privacy controls.
• Messaging that covers private one-to-one chats as well as group chats, with push notifications, read receipts, and media sharing.
Although parts of the ranking or moderation logic may eventually leverage AI, most of the build relies on well-structured native or cross-platform code, a secure backend, and a scalable database. I’m open to Flutter, React Native, or separate Swift/Kotlin stacks—choose what lets you move fastest without sacrificing quality.
Deliverables
1. Clickable prototype for final UI sign-off.
2. Production-ready iOS and Android builds, uploaded to TestFlight / internal track.
3. Clean, documented source code in a private Git repository.
4. Deployment scripts and infrastructure (Firebase, AWS, or equivalent) plus a brief hand-over guide.
5. Post-launch support window to squash any critical bugs.
Acceptance criteria
• All listed features perform smoothly on current iOS & Android versions.
• No crashes in a 50-user closed beta running for 14 consecutive days.
• App Store and Google Play guidelines met; builds pass review.
• Codebase lint-clean, unit-tested, and ready for future AI modules.
