I’m midway through writing a non-fiction manuscript and need help tracking down high-quality BOOK sources that will strengthen my arguments and broaden the reference list. Your primary responsibility will be to locate, vet, and summarise relevant titles available in Indian libraries, university presses, and reputable online catalogues, then supply fully-formatted citations (Chicago style).

Because the focus is on physical and digital books rather than journal articles or general web content, I’m looking for someone who already knows where to search—WorldCat, INFLIBNET, Google Books previews, publisher catalogues, and local collections such as the National Library in Kolkata or state archives. If you can also suggest nearby libraries or inter-library loan options I might have missed, even better.

Deliverables
• A spreadsheet of 40–50 curated book titles with short annotations explaining each title’s relevance.
• A separate citation file in Chicago 17th (notes-bibliography) format ready to drop into the manuscript.
• PDFs or scanned excerpts when legally and practically obtainable, clearly labelled and indexed.

Acceptance criteria
The list must meet my brief for depth (at least 60 % scholarly presses), breadth (multiple viewpoints), and recency (minimum 15 % published after 2015). Citations should copy-paste cleanly without manual re-formatting.

If you’re based in India, comfortable chasing down hard-to-find books, and meticulous with citation style, I’d love to hear how quickly you can begin and how you would approach the search.
