Hotel Booking & Management Platform

I’m building a full-featured system for a single hotel that unifies front-desk operations with a smooth guest-facing booking portal. The application must cover three core areas:

• Room booking – real-time availability calendar, rate management, secure online reservations and payment processing.
• Staff management – rosters, shift tracking and role-based task assignments to streamline daily operations behind the scenes.
• Inventory management – monitor linens, minibar items, cleaning supplies and other stock, with low-level alerts and simple reorder workflows.

Because the property type is a traditional hotel, every screen, report and workflow should feel native to that environment (check-in/check-out times, room categories, add-on services, etc.).

At launch the only public role will be the Guest, who must be able to search, book, pay and receive confirmation without friction. Internal dashboards for staff and admins may sit behind the same code-base but can stay hidden from the public UI until we phase them in.

Tech is your choice—Laravel, Node, Django, or a comparable modern stack—so long as you deliver clean, documented code, a REST or GraphQL API for future mobile apps, and a responsive interface that works just as well on reception tablets as it does on a guest’s phone.

Acceptance criteria will be a working demo on our server, seeded with sample rooms, staff profiles and inventory items, plus hand-over of all source code and a concise setup guide.
