I need a reliable freelance writer who can craft engaging, student-focused copy every day for our university’s blog and news feed. The top priority is fresh blog posts and feature articles that speak directly to our current students—covering campus life, academic resources, career tips, events, and anything else that keeps them informed and inspired.
Alongside the daily pieces, I also have occasional requests for short advertising copy and conversion-focused landing pages promoting new programs and enquiry forms. These secondary tasks will come up less frequently, but an adaptable tone is essential so the voice remains consistent across channels.
Your writing should be clear, approachable, and rooted in solid research. Familiarity with higher-education trends, SEO best practices, and publishing in a CMS like WordPress will help you hit the ground running. I’ll share topic outlines or key points in advance; you’ll be responsible for polishing them into compelling stories of roughly 600–800 words each, optimized for readability and search.
When you apply, please send links to past work that showcases your ability to write for student or youth audiences. If you have examples of campus blogging, newsletter articles, or education-focused social posts, those are especially valuable.
I plan to start with a paid trial article so we can confirm tone, turnaround time, and workflow. From there, I’m looking for someone who can deliver five to seven posts a week on a rolling basis. Let me know your availability and typical turnaround window, and we can firm up the schedule from there.
