I’m starting this project with a clean slate and need a seasoned developer who can take it from concept to production. The application must support secure OAuth 2.0 sign-in alongside a robust email API for transactional and notification messaging. Your role covers the entire stack—frontend, backend, database schema, authentication flows, API endpoints, and deployment.
Tech choices are open. If you favour React, Vue, or Angular on the frontend, great; if you’re more productive in Node.js, Python, or Ruby on the backend, that works too. Likewise, the data layer can be SQL, NoSQL, or even a graph database—as long as the solution scales and keeps data consistent.
Key expectations
• A responsive, modern UI tied to well-structured REST (or GraphQL) services
• OAuth 2.0 flows implemented end-to-end, including token refresh and secure storage of secrets
• Role-based user management, passwordless login, and audit logging
• Automated tests, concise documentation, and a CI/CD setup that can deploy to a cloud host of your choice
When you submit your proposal, outline:
1. Your preferred stack and why it’s the best fit
2. Any similar OAuth/email-heavy apps you’ve built
3. A rough timeline for an MVP and full release
Deliverables are considered complete when I can log in with an OAuth provider, trigger a verified email, and run the test suite cleanly on a fresh clone.
