My store’s frontend is already pixel–perfect and live on a staging URL; what I now need is the complete server-side engine that will actually run the shop.
Scope of work
I’m looking for a developer who can build every major e-commerce module from scratch: secure user authentication with role-based authorization, robust product and inventory management, reliable cart and order processing, and a clean admin dashboard to control it all. Because I’m undecided between a traditional SQL stack or a more flexible NoSQL approach, I’m open to your recommendation—just explain why it fits our growth plans.
Key integrations & expectations
• Payment: Razorpay must be fully integrated, handling standard payments, refunds, and webhooks in both test and live modes.
• APIs: well-documented REST (or GraphQL if you convince me) endpoints that the existing React frontend can consume with minimal refactor.
• Security & performance: JWT or similar token strategy, rate limiting, input validation, and basic logging/monitoring baked in from day one.
• Deployment: set up a production-ready environment (Docker/Kubernetes or a straightforward VPS pipeline—your call) and hand over scripts so I can reproduce it.
• Documentation: a concise README plus endpoint reference so future team members can extend the codebase quickly.
Acceptance criteria
1. Frontend connects and completes a test purchase via Razorpay without errors.
2. Admin panel displays real-time product and order data.
3. Automated tests cover critical flows (login, add-to-cart, checkout).
4. I can spin up the whole stack locally with one command.
Bring your preferred stack—Node/Express, Django, Laravel, Go, or something else—just be ready to justify it and deliver clean, maintainable code.
