Freelance Social Media Content Designer

I’m looking for a talented Social Media Content Designer to work with me on an ongoing freelance basis for my mindfulness and holistic wellness brand.

The role is primarily about turning ideas, scripts and content into beautiful, engaging social media creatives. I will provide the content direction, ideas and scripts; your job will be to bring them to life visually.

The aesthetic I’m looking for is minimal, calm, thoughtful, premium and contemporary — something that feels aligned with mindfulness and wellness without becoming overly "spiritual" or cliché.

What You’ll Be Doing
Design Instagram carousels and static posts
Create engaging Reel covers/thumbnails
Create promotional creatives for workshops, meditation sessions, sound baths and events
Repurpose existing content into different social media formats
Create reusable templates where appropriate
Occasionally adapt creatives for LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other platforms

What I’m Looking For
You should have:
Strong graphic design skills and a good eye for typography, composition and visual hierarchy
Experience designing specifically for Instagram/social media
Strong short-form video editing skills
An understanding of what makes social media content visually engaging
The ability to create clean, premium and understated designs
Good attention to detail
The ability to understand a concept or script and translate it into an appropriate visual treatment
Good communication and responsiveness
The ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines
Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or similar tools is welcome. You don't need to use a particular software as long as the output is excellent.

The Aesthetic
I am not looking for loud, overly promotional or generic wellness designs.

Minimal • Elegant • Calm • Contemporary • Human • Premium

The visual language should feel appropriate for a modern mindfulness and wellness brand rather than a typical yoga/meditation page.

The content will include both educational/thought-provoking content and promotional content for our sessions and experiences.

What I’ll Provide
I will provide:
Content ideas
Scripts/copy
Creative direction where required
Brand guidelines and references
Feedback and revisions

You will be responsible for taking the raw material and creating the final, polished social media creative.

However, a strong portfolio matters more than industry experience.

Working Arrangement
This is a freelance/ongoing role, starting with a small number of projects to assess fit.
If we work well together, I would like to build a long-term working relationship and have you handle a consistent flow of social media creatives every month.
