I’m ready to push a new line of women's shoes that focus on comfort first into development and need a creative footwear designer who can move fast. The goal is to receive production-ready design assets that balance cutting-edge aesthetics with real-world functionality for everyday wear.
Here’s what I need from you right away: please share past work that shows your ability to take a shoe from concept to factory-ready tech pack. I’m particularly interested in projects where you’ve solved fit, support, or material challenges, so links or PDFs that highlight those wins will help me choose quickly.
Project scope
• Translate my brief and target user insights into 2–3 distinct concept directions.
• Refine the selected direction into detailed upper and outsole drawings, colorways, and material callouts.
• Deliver a full tech pack (spec sheets, material list, sizing, and construction notes) suitable for factory sampling.
Optional but welcomed: a simple 3D model or rendered mock-ups that clearly communicate form and proportion.
Timeline
I’d like first concepts on my desk within one week of kickoff, with the final tech pack completed as soon as realistically possible after feedback rounds. Speed is essential, but not at the expense of accuracy—the shoes must be truly manufacturable.
Tools you’re comfortable with—whether Illustrator, Rhino, Blender, or similar—are up to you, as long as the files are neat and editable.
If your portfolio shows strong, relevant past work and you’re confident you can hit an accelerated schedule, I’m eager to get started.
