I am a PhD candidate in Finance who needs focused, doctoral-level tutoring on one specific research-methodology topic. The aim is to master both the theory and the step-by-step application so I can justify the approach confidently in my dissertation.

Here is what the collaboration will look like:
• We begin with a short diagnostic chat so you can gauge my current grasp of the topic.
• You then teach the concept in depth—breaking down assumptions, formulas, and decision rules—while demonstrating each stage in a statistical package such as Stata, R, or Python (choose whichever you use fluently).
• After every session I receive concise, annotated slides or notes plus a hands-on exercise that I complete and return for feedback.
• We repeat the cycle until I can perform the method independently and articulate its rationale in writing.

Live meetings over Zoom or a similar platform are preferred once a week, with recordings or supplementary videos acceptable between sessions. Please come prepared with examples drawn from Finance research so I can see the technique in real context. When we finish, my methodology chapter should contain a rigorously-defended section built on what you have taught me.
