Expert Qualitative Research Analyst Required

I am seeking an experienced qualitative research analyst to assist with the analysis of interview transcripts for an academic research project.

The selected freelancer will review and systematically analyze interview transcripts, identify key themes and relationships, and help develop a conceptual/theoretical model grounded in the qualitative data. The analysis should also identify strong representative quotes from participants that support each theme and the proposed relationships.

Scope of Work

The freelancer will be expected to:

Review and analyze all interview transcripts.
Conduct systematic qualitative coding (e.g., open/initial coding followed by higher-order coding and theme development).
Develop a clear codebook with codes, definitions, and supporting evidence.
Identify first-order concepts, broader themes, and higher-order dimensions where appropriate.
Examine relationships and patterns among the identified themes.
Develop a conceptual model/framework based on the findings.
Provide a clear explanation of how the proposed model emerged from the data.
Identify and organize representative participant quotes supporting each major theme, construct, or relationship.
Maintain a clear audit trail connecting raw interview evidence → codes → themes → conceptual model.
Provide a written summary of the major findings and interpretations.

Experience using qualitative analysis software such as NVivo, MAXQDA, ATLAS.ti, or similar software is preferred.

Coded interview transcripts/project files
Final codebook
Table showing codes, themes, and higher-order dimensions
Supporting/representative quotes for each major theme
Conceptual model or visual framework based on the findings
Written explanation and interpretation of the model and relationships
Summary of the overall qualitative findings suitable for use in developing an academic manuscript
