Experienced Seamstress for Luxury Womenswear Sample Product

Sample Maker Needed for Upcoming Luxury Womenswear Brand — REVANE

I’m currently launching REVANE, a new Australian womenswear brand focused on elevated, feminine, classy and chic designs with a luxury feel.

I’m looking for an experienced sample maker/seamstress to create the first physical sample of one of our upcoming designs.

I have already completed the full tech pack, technical sketch, measurements and garment specifications, so the design is ready to be brought to life. I’m looking for someone who can take these specifications and produce a high-quality, professionally finished first sample.

About the garment:
The first design is a floor-length, body-con evening gown featuring a fitted silhouette, detailed ruching, a strapless bodice, draped fabric wrapping around the upper arms and a lightweight semi-sheer flowing skirt.

The garment requires someone who is confident working with stretch fabrics, delicate/sheer fabrics, ruching and fitted garments, with a strong understanding of garment construction and fit.

I’m looking for someone who:
• Has professional experience creating womenswear samples, particularly eveningwear/formalwear
• Has experience working with stretch and sheer fabrics
• Is highly skilled in garment construction and finishing
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Can accurately follow a detailed tech pack and measurements
• Understands how to achieve a clean, high-end/luxury finish
• Can communicate throughout the sampling process and suggest improvements where appropriate
• Can provide examples of previous work
