I have a single Excel workbook containing between 100 – 500 rows of pure text data that needs a clean, consistent look. Your task is to open the file and manually re-format every entry—nothing numerical or date related, just the words themselves.
Once I share the style guide you will:
• apply the agreed capitalisation (e.g., Title Case or sentence case),
• trim extra spaces or line breaks,
• ensure punctuation is consistent, and
• keep each record in its original row so formulas and references stay intact.
No automated global replace, please—each cell should be reviewed by eye to avoid accidental changes.
Deliverables
1. The updated Excel file with all text entries formatted to spec.
2. A brief “before vs after” sheet or note highlighting any non-obvious adjustments you made.
If you work comfortably with Excel tools such as Find/Replace, PROPER, TRIM, and basic filters, this will be a quick, tidy project. I’m ready to send the file and style guide as soon as you’re available.
