Title: Build a European Energy Data Website + Mobile App — Maximum Budget $1,500
I am looking for an experienced developer to build an energy information platform similar in functionality to https://euroenergy.live, together with a mobile application.
Please review the reference website before submitting your proposal.
Main requirements:
- Modern, responsive website for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- European electricity prices, with hourly charts and country comparisons.
- Country pages showing electricity consumption, production, generation mix and import/export flows where data is available.
- Interactive European map.
- Automatic updates through reliable energy data APIs.
- Clear data sources, timestamps and handling of unavailable data.
- Energy news section with an administration panel.
- Romanian and English interface, with the option to add more languages.
- Basic technical SEO and fast loading.
Mobile application:
- Access to the main data, charts and country pages.
- Shared backend with the website.
- Please specify whether your offer includes Android, iOS or an installable PWA, and explain your proposed solution.
Deliverables:
- Working website and application.
- Full source code and ownership of the custom code.
- Backend, database and administration panel.
- Installation on my hosting and setup documentation.
- Testing and 30 days of bug fixes after delivery.
Budget:
Maximum $1,500 USD TOTAL for the website and application, including development, design, API integration, testing and deployment.
Any recurring expenses, paid APIs, hosting requirements or app store fees must be disclosed before the project starts. No additional development charges without prior agreement.
Your proposal must include:
1. The exact features and countries covered within this budget.
2. The data sources and APIs you plan to use.
3. The technology stack and mobile app approach.
4. Delivery timeline and payment milestones.
5. Examples of similar projects.
If the complete scope cannot fit within the budget, propose a clearly defined first version and identify what would be excluded.
Payments will be released through Freelancer milestones after each agreed deliverable is demonstrated and approved.
