JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to strengthen the administrative security and user-management capabilities of an existing production FinTech SaaS platform.
Our application uses Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and a React-based administration dashboard. This is a sensitive financial application, so we need someone who understands secure authentication, database consistency, audit logging, and privileged administrator operations.
This is not a basic CRUD assignment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected developer will:
Build a persistent, case-insensitive email banning system.
Block banned users from registration, login, password reset, existing sessions, and administrator impersonation.
Ensure bans remain effective after account deletion or attempted re-registration.
Safely disable active trading relationships when an account is banned.
Preserve historical trades, orders, and audit records.
Build administrator interfaces for banning, unbanning, and reviewing users.
Securely implement bulk removal of broker accounts and platform users.
Add password reauthentication, exact confirmation phrases, CSRF protection, permissions, execution locking, previews, and audit logging.
Handle partial failures from external broker services.
Create PostgreSQL migrations and maintain compatibility with existing data.
Add automated API, authentication, database, and UI tests.
Deliver technical documentation and deployment instructions.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
We are specifically looking for someone with:
Strong Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
Advanced PostgreSQL and database migration knowledge.
Experience building secure authentication and authorization systems.
Experience with administrative dashboards and REST APIs.
Understanding of transactional operations, idempotency, and audit trails.
Ability to work carefully inside an existing production codebase.
Clear written communication and disciplined testing practices.
FinTech, brokerage API, or trading-platform experience will be an advantage.
