## Short-Form Content Creator & Social Media Manager

We are looking for a creative and reliable **Short-Form Content Creator & Social Media Manager** to help grow our English-learning and CELPIP education brand.

This is an **end-to-end content creation role**. We are not looking for someone who only edits videos. You should be able to independently come up with content ideas, create short videos, edit them, write captions and hashtags, and publish them directly to our social media accounts.

### Responsibilities

* Create approximately **4 short-form videos per day**
* Keep most videos around **15–20 seconds**
* Create content related to:

* English learning
* CELPIP preparation
* Speaking tips
* Vocabulary
* Common English mistakes
* Grammar tips
* Useful expressions
* Fun and engaging educational content
* Research and come up with content ideas independently
* Write simple scripts when needed
* Edit videos using tools such as **CapCut, Canva, or similar software**
* Add subtitles, text, music, images, B-roll, and simple effects
* Create engaging hooks at the beginning of each video
* Write captions and relevant hashtags
* Publish content directly to:

* **Instagram Reels**
* **TikTok**
* **YouTube Shorts**
* **Facebook Reels**, when appropriate
* Reuse and adapt content across different platforms
* Maintain a consistent posting schedule
* Follow current short-form video trends and suggest new content ideas
* Make reasonable revisions when requested

### What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

* Can work independently
* Is creative and proactive
* Has strong English skills
* Understands short-form social media content
* Has experience with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
* Can create simple but engaging educational videos quickly
* Is comfortable using AI tools to help with ideas, scripts, captions, or content creation
* Can consistently meet daily posting goals
* Does not require us to provide a complete script or finished raw video for every post

You should be comfortable taking a general topic such as:

**“Common English mistakes”**

and turning it into a complete short-form video from idea to final upload.

### Content Style

The content should be:

* Educational but entertaining
* Simple and easy to understand
* Fast-paced
* Visually engaging
* Suitable for adult English learners
* Professional but not overly formal
* Designed for social media rather than traditional classroom-style teaching

We prefer simple, effective videos over complicated or heavily edited videos.

### Schedule

This is a **remote, ongoing position**.

We are looking for someone who can consistently create and publish content throughout the month.

### Compensation

**CAD $300–$400 per month**, depending on experience, quality, and ability to work independently.

We may start with a trial period, and there may be opportunities for increased compensation as the brand grows and performance is strong.
