I’m putting together a focused engineering team to create DarkSword-RCE—an iOS-centric security-testing suite that blends reverse-engineering utilities, exploit-development modules, and on-device system monitoring.
What I need built
• Low-level C/C++ and ARM64 assembly code that interfaces with the iOS kernel and supports advanced debugging hooks.
• Objective-C/Swift wrappers so the toolkit feels native and can be side-loaded easily.
• A JavaScript scripting bridge for dynamic instrumentation similar to Frida, enabling quick prototyping of tests.
Key milestones
1. Modular architecture that lets me toggle features for each engagement.
2. Stable kernel-debugging interface for both real devices and simulators.
3. Proof-of-concept exploits covering recent iOS versions (research notes provided).
4. Live monitoring dashboards that track file, process, and network events and export to JSON.
5. Build scripts and documentation for painless setup, updating, and distribution.
Acceptance criteria
• Source compiles cleanly with current Xcode and clang toolchains.
• Clear, versioned APIs between modules—no hard-coded paths or secrets.
• Exploit code gated behind feature flags to avoid accidental triggers.
• A test suite that walks through reverse-engineering and monitoring on the latest public iOS release.
