AI Workflow / n8n Developer — One-Time Project
We are looking for someone experienced with n8n, AI workflows and basic web automation to build a simple, reliable workflow for tender discovery and analysis.
What needs to be built
The workflow should broadly:
Find tenders → Filter relevant ones → Download documents → Analyse requirements → Compare with our capabilities → Generate a simple report
The final output should help us quickly decide which tenders are worth reviewing further.
Key Requirements
* Build the workflow primarily using n8n
* Automate tender collection from relevant websites/portals
* Apply basic filters such as category, location, value, department, etc.
* Allow selected tenders/documents to be sent for further analysis
* Use AI where genuinely useful, particularly for understanding tender documents and identifying requirements/gaps
* Generate a simple, structured output/report for human review
Important: Keep It Lean
We are not looking for an over-engineered AI system.
The workflow should prioritize:
* Manual scraping / lightweight scraping wherever practical
* Hard-coded rules and logic where they work better than AI
* n8n’s native capabilities
* Free/open-source tools where possible
* Minimum use of paid APIs and API keys
* Avoiding unnecessary LLM calls or expensive AI agents
The goal is to build something simple, reliable and inexpensive to operate, rather than technically complex.
Handover
This is a one-time build and complete handover.
The developer should provide:
* Complete n8n workflow
* Any scripts/code used
* Prompts and AI logic
* Basic setup documentation
* Required credentials/API configuration
* A working demonstration
* Full handover so the workflow can be independently operated and modified afterwards
If the workflow works well, there may be opportunities for additional automation projects in the future.
Ideal Candidate
Someone who:
* Has hands-on n8n experience
* Understands basic scraping/web automation
* Has worked with LLMs/AI workflows
* Can build simple solutions instead of over-engineering
* Is comfortable working with limited paid API usage
* Can provide a clean, complete handover
