I’m building a new AI-driven automation layer whose sole purpose is process automation—specifically, taking our workflow management off people’s plates and handing it to well-orchestrated APIs. Every flow ultimately begins or ends inside Airtime Lead Intelligence & Outreach, so the architecture you design must treat that platform as the pivotal integration point.
Here’s the vision: a cloud-native, event-driven backbone that can trigger, monitor, and refine thousands of workflows per day while giving us the freedom to swap in better AI models or microservices over time. I need you to translate that vision into a concrete, implementation-ready blueprint, choose the right stack, and document the details my dev team will use to hit the ground running.
Deliverables
• High-level architecture diagram (PDF + editable)
• Component list with technology rationale (AI models, API services, data stores, orchestration engine)
• Integration spec for Airtime Lead Intelligence & Outreach, including auth, rate limits, and error handling
• Sequence diagrams for at least three business-critical workflows
• Phased implementation roadmap outlining milestones, risks, and scaling strategy
Acceptance criteria
The design must support plug-and-play microservices, sustain 10 000+ workflow executions per day without bottlenecks, and provide a clear path for observability, security, and cost control.
When you respond, highlight past projects where you architected similar process-automation or AI/API platforms and list any frameworks you’d lean on—AWS Step Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Temporal, Kubernetes, LangChain, or others you find fit. I’ll be on standby for rapid feedback so we can iterate quickly and lock down the final architecture.
