Custom Bluetooth Mobile App -- 2

I need an end-to-end mobile application that can communicate over Bluetooth. The core purpose is to discover nearby devices, establish a reliable connection, and exchange data or commands in real time.

At this stage I am still shaping the detailed feature set—pairing workflow, transfer protocols, optional UI for device control, and the exact target platforms (Android, iOS, or both) are all open for discussion. What I do know is that the solution must use native Bluetooth APIs efficiently, keep the connection stable in the background, and follow each platform’s latest permission guidelines.

If you have shipped Bluetooth-centric apps before and can point to projects where you handled scanning, bonding, and live data exchange, I’d like to see how you’d architect this one, the libraries or SDKs you would rely on, and an outline of milestones from proof-of-concept through store-ready build.
