Custom Aerial Dance Costumes

We have a theatrical showcase piece in September, using aerial and acrobatic movement, and I need a skilled costume maker to create a small collection of performance-ready outfits. The designs must look striking under stage lights yet remain lightweight, stretchy, and safe for rigging harnesses and upside-down work.

Here’s what I’m after:
• costumes tailored to my dancers’ sizes supplied shortly
• Fabrics and construction that allow full shoulder rotation, splits, drops, and quick costume changes
• Thoughtful detailing—bold colours, texture, or embellishment—that can be appreciated from the audience without snagging silks or ropes
• Final garments delivered cleaned, pressed, and ready for early September

I can supply sketches, colour palettes, and rehearsal videos so you can see the choreography in motion. We’ll schedule one virtual consultation to align on aesthetic, then an in-person (or remote video) fitting round before final stitching.

Acceptance criteria:

• Seams withstand repeated dynamic load tests (tug/stretch) without failure
• No loose elements that could tangle in aerial apparatus
• Delivery meets our agreed timeline
