Conference Accommodation Management System

I need a self-hosted web application that lets our conference delegates reserve hotel rooms allocated to an event. Unlike a public hotel booking engine, this system will sit behind our event website and work only with the room blocks we negotiate.

Core delegate journey
• Browse all participating hotels, see real-time room counts that I maintain in the back-office dashboard.
• Add rooms from one or several hotels to the same basket, confirm the reservation, then return later to change dates or cancel without staff involvement. No guest management or payment gateway is required at this stage.

Administration needs
• Event staff must be able to create events, load each hotel’s room inventory and rates, adjust availability on the fly through an intuitive admin dashboard, and generate simple occupancy and pickup reports.
• Hotels themselves will not connect directly; all updates happen through the dashboard I control, so clean role-based access and audit logs are important.
• The finished code must be fully owned by us and deployable on our own server.

Tech preferences
I am open to a Joomla component, WordPress plugin, standalone Laravel build, or a custom PHP solution—choose the approach you can execute best while keeping the code portable and well documented.

Deliverables for acceptance
• Complete source code with installation instructions.
• SQL script for initial schema and sample data.
• Brief user guide covering delegate flow and admin functions.
• Two weeks of post-launch bug fixing.
