AWS Site Alerts & Backups

I run a small fitness studio, and our appointment-booking website is hosted on one AWS EC2 server with one RDS MySQL database. The site recently had a problem that we noticed only when customers called. We also have backups enabled, but we have never tested a restore.

I’m looking for an AWS engineer to set up practical monitoring, configure daily backups for the EC2 server and RDS database with seven-day retention, and restore a database backup into a temporary, isolated instance to prove that it works. Please set up alerts for website availability, EC2 status, and database storage; route them to my email; and provide a short recovery guide my team can follow.

I will consider the project complete when I receive a test alert, can see successful backup jobs, and watch you verify a record in the restored database. Please include a brief handover call. I will cover AWS usage charges, including the temporary restore instance, separately.
