I need a hands-on network engineer who can come in immediately and take care of the physical side of a new Juniper rollout. The racks are in place; what’s left is to install the hardware, dress and terminate copper / fiber runs, label everything clearly, and leave me with clean documentation so I can slide straight into configuration work afterward.
Scope of work
• Unbox, rack and secure the Juniper switches and routers I provide.
• Run and neatly bundle all required patch leads and backbone fiber, keeping to existing cable-management channels.
• Test every link for continuity and performance, then label both ends to my naming scheme.
• Hand over a simple diagram and port-to-port spreadsheet so I can verify the layout.
Acceptance criteria
1. All devices powered on with fans quiet and LEDs green.
2. Every copper and fiber pair passes a Fluke or equivalent certification report.
3. Labels match the sheet you hand me; no handwriting, please—printed or heat-shrink only.
4. Workspace left tidy; all packaging removed.
Timing
I’m ready to give you access as soon as we agree. The job must be wrapped up and signed off within the next couple of days, so only respond if you can start ASAP.
Tools you’ll likely need: torque screwdriver, cage-nut kit, cable tester, fiber clean-kit, label printer, and basic hand tools.
If you’re comfortable working with Juniper hardware and can meet the turnaround, let’s lock in the date today.
