I already have a mobile base fitted with a Raspberry Pi, motor drivers and a 2-D LiDAR. The robot needs to collect scan data the full autonomy stack and a user-friendly interface.

Scope of work
• Use the existing LiDAR to build and store a reliable indoor map (SLAM).
• Implement localisation and path-planning so the robot can travel to custom points that I pre-mark on the map.
• Create a lightweight UI that runs on the on-board Raspberry Pi. I want to reach it from either an Android APK or a browser; once connected, I choose a point and press on-screen buttons to send the robot there.
• Keep hardware changes close to zero—software and wiring tweaks are fine, new boards or sensors are not.
• Provide clear build/run instructions and source code so I can reproduce the result on identical hardware.

Functionality required-
1. Robot moves autonomously from its start pose to any stored point with no manual steering.
2. UI shows current pose on the saved map and lets me trigger navigation with simple buttons.
3. Recovery behaviours handle blocked paths or lost localisation without crashing.
4. All code runs on the Raspberry Pi and communicates cleanly with the motor controller.
5. On board screen shall display the wifi connection, Battery status and button to mark item collected so that next command can be taken.
6. robot will operate on an intranet wifi zone only without any internet.
7. User gives the command, robot starts moving towards the location with a very light buzzer and led indicator. During movement, no other command will be executed.
8. Automatic obstacle detection and waiting for obstacle to move or finding alternate path route.
9. Once it reaches the destination, button on the screen will be activated to mark item as collected. Unless the button is pressed, second command will not be accepted by the system.
10. On low battery, buzzer sound will increase with different led light color and robot will go to the predefined destination.
11. Since robot will have manual connection for charging, it should not take any command during charging. and should revert error as charging in progress. pls disconnect the robot first.
