After Effects 2D Artist Animation

I have an artists-video in progress and I need a polished 2D animation sequence built entirely in Adobe After Effects. The live image and rough timing are ready; what’s missing is the animated effects that brings the piece to life.

Here’s what I’m aiming for: a fluid, stylised 2D look that complements the visual tone of the artwork already on screen. It's about a body overheating. Think acid flash or cel-inspired motion rather than corporate infographics. You will receive photoshop file, mood references and the exact frame markers where animation should appear. Your task is to design, animate and composite those moments so they feel integrated, respecting colour, pacing and the overall aesthetic of the piece.

Deliverables
• Storyboard or style frames for approval
• The fully animated After Effects project (well-organised layers and comps)
• Rendered video (ProRes or lossless MOV) matching the original timeline
• Any custom artwork or textures you create as separate, editable assets

3 to 4 mins in length. I will give you a photoshop file that I would like to animate.

Acceptance criteria
• Animation matches the agreed storyboard and timing cues
• Smooth playback at 25 fps, 1920×1080
• No third-party plugins that require additional licences (ever)
