I want to build a browser-based JavaScript game aimed squarely at adults who enjoy quick thinking and a touch of adrenaline. The core experience should combine the forward-moving feel of a “game like Subway Surfers” with puzzle mechanics that make players pause, strategise and then spring back into action.
Here’s the vision in practical terms: the player continuously advances down a lane, but instead of only dodging obstacles they must solve on-the-fly logic challenges—colour-matching, symbol sequencing, mini-riddles—before an on-screen timer expires. The difficulty should scale so sessions stay engaging for seasoned gamers.
I’m open to your preferred stack: vanilla JS with canvas, Phaser, Babylon, or another web-friendly framework, as long as everything runs smoothly in modern desktop and mobile browsers. Feel free to suggest lightweight 3-D effects or polished 2-D assets—whichever best captures that Subway-style perspective while keeping performance snappy.
Deliverables I need from you
• Playable HTML/JS build packaged for easy hosting
• Well-commented source code and asset folders
• Brief setup guide so I can tweak levels and puzzles later
Acceptance criteria
• Game loads in under five seconds on a standard broadband connection
• No critical bugs during a five-minute continuous playtest on Chrome, Firefox and Safari (desktop & mobile)
• Puzzle logic, scoring and speed settings exposed in clear JSON or JS config for post-launch balancing
If this concept excites you and you’ve shipped comparable JavaScript games before, let’s talk details and timelines.
