10m Electric Target Carrier / Target Retrieval System – Fabrication & Electrical Work

Project Description

I am looking for a freelancer/fabricator to design and build a simple electrically operated target carrier for a 10-metre air-pistol practice setup.

I already have a 12V DC geared motor (30–60 RPM). The freelancer needs to fabricate the mechanical system and complete the electrical control system.

Requirements

- 10-metre target travel
- 12V DC geared motor
- Forward / Stop / Reverse operation
- Two pulleys
- Strong nylon rope or suitable cable
- Moving target trolley/carrier
- Steel or aluminium guide rail
- Motor mounting bracket
- Target holder
- Two limit switches, one at each end
- Fuse and safe low-voltage wiring
- Compact control box
- Smooth and reliable movement
- Adjustable travel/stop positions

What I Need From You

1. Mechanical design/fabrication
2. Motor and pulley mounting
3. Target trolley fabrication
4. Guide rail installation
5. Electrical wiring and control switch
6. Limit-switch integration
7. Testing of the complete system
8. Basic maintenance instructions

Preferred Freelancer

- Mechanical fabricator / automation technician / electrical technician
- Experience with DC motors, limit switches and small automation projects
- Ability to fabricate custom brackets and trolley
- Local freelancer preferred, but remote design support is also welcome

Important

This is for a 10-metre air-pistol practice setup. The target carrier is only for transporting the target; it is not intended to function as a ballistic backstop.
