Project overview
We're looking for: A Technical Writer to write, edit, and review product documentation and software documentation. We also have client projects in need of API documentation. The ideal candidate has technical chops, demonstrably strong communication and writing skills, and can effectively interact with software developers, data scientists, product owners, and project leads. What you’ll do: Work with product owners, product marketing, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including, User Guides, Integration Guides, and API Developer Guides. Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables. Learn complex concepts and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by users. Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability. Integrate use case and functional data into user documentation and examples. How we decide: We are a team focused on the same mission: building customer-focused software. The winning candidate will also have a combination of work experience and expertise similar to the requirements listed below: Qualifications Portfolio of work and/or writing samples. Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums. Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment. A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges. Someone who would enjoy working as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
