About the Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices using Microsoft Azure. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you’ll build reliable, high-performance systems and collaborate across global teams to drive innovation and growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications. Design and build microservices and REST APIs using .NET Core and C#. Develop and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging Azure services (API Management, Key Vault, App Configuration). Build secure APIs with proper authentication, authorization, logging, and exception handling. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools. Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Azure Application Insights. Work with SQL (MS SQL / Azure SQL) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB / MongoDB) databases. Collaborate with teams across ERP, BI, and data platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Power BI). Prepare technical documentation, design specs, and standards. Provide technical guidance and contribute to architecture discussions. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 6+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud and microservices architecture. Strong experience in .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines. Expertise with Azure services – API Management, Key Vault, App Configuration. Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, MongoDB). Experience with Azure Application Insights for monitoring and troubleshooting. Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred. (AWS certification is a plus.) Exposure to pharma or life sciences industry is advantageous.
