About the Role We are seeking an experienced and visionary Solutions/Software Architect Manager to lead our architectural strategy and ensure the robust, scalable, and secure design of our fintech products and platforms. This pivotal role will not only drive technical excellence in solution architecture but also be responsible for the leadership, mentorship, and performance management of our Cloud Architecture Engineers, Senior Software Engineers, and System Designers. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in software development, cloud technologies, and a proven track record in architecting complex systems within the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities Architectural Leadership & Strategy: Define and evolve the overall technical architecture vision and strategy for all products and platforms, aligning with business goals and industry best practices. Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, available, resilient, and secure solutions that meet the demanding requirements of the fintech industry. Conduct thorough architectural reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, design patterns, and coding standards. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance our technological capabilities and competitive advantage. Collaborate closely with product management, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure the consistent application of architectural governance and documentation across all projects. Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Cloud Architecture Engineers, Senior Software Engineers, and System Designers. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous growth and professional development. Oversee the allocation of resources and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient project delivery and team productivity. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team. Act as a technical escalation point for architectural and design challenges, providing guidance and solutions. Cloud Architecture & Audit: Responsible for the overall cloud architecture strategy, ensuring optimal utilization of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalability, cost-efficiency, and security. Conduct regular audits of existing cloud architecture implementations to identify vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and areas for optimization. Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, compliance regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR), and data governance policies. Guide the team in designing and implementing highly available and disaster-tolerant cloud-native solutions. System Design & Software Engineering Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance to System Designers, ensuring robust and comprehensive system specifications. Review and approve high-level and detailed designs for new features and systems. Collaborate with Senior Software Engineers to ensure that architectural designs are effectively translated into well-engineered and maintainable code. Promote best practices in software development, including clean code, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
