About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineer - DevOps, Platform to join our team & take our infrastructure to the next level. In this role, you will build tools that streamline our deployment pipelines for continuous software delivery and the ability to set up, maintain, and scale our different services as needed. You will be our micro-services, automation, server-side scripting, and chef/ansible champion. Youll build tools to monitor our infrastructure, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions. Youll be tasked with the continuous improvement of the reliability & efficiency of our infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and create web-based IDP tools to enable the development team to quickly and consistently build and deliver services in a Kubernetes-orchestrated environment, enhancing productivity and project outcomes. Assist in designing and implementing highly available and scalable AWS (EKS) Kubernetes clusters tailored to meet the organizations needs across production, development, and testing environments. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines within the IDP, ensuring consistent and efficient environment setups. Integrate and implement GitOps best practices and methodologies throughout the engineering process, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications/Requirements BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (STEM) Experience with public cloud computing platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, etc.) 3+ yearsexperience in Kubernetes, with a clear understanding of the inner workings of Kubernetes in an AWS EKS environment 3+ yearsbackend experience in object-oriented design and programming 1-2 years hands-on working with ArgoCD, along with a good understanding of the tool Hands-on with building and supporting Microservice architecture Experience in Agile development practice and continuous integration/continuous delivery environment (CI/CD) Designing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, K8s, ArgoCD, Crossplane, Terraform, Git, and more Knowledge of Linux environments Benefits We take great pride in providing competitive pay, full benefits to help care for you today and in the future, amazing perks (including flexible PTO), and, most importantly, the opportunity to put passion and purpose front and center.
