Project overview
As a Senior Front/Back end Engineer you will design and build the mobile and web site applications that will provide the gateway for the cryptocurrency platform using React Native and React. You will designing the user experience, as well as implementing and connecting to our back end services. What You'll Do: Design and build the App front/Back ends, including mobile and web applications to produce a world-class fintech service. Create intuitive, simple and effective designs via wireframe and mockup tools, working directly with Product Management, and then follow through with implementation. Build quality in, delivering significant unit, integration and system tests along with your code. As a secondary objective, assist the other teams directly with code review, design and implementation as needed. What We Are Looking For: We're looking for passionate, professional software engineers who enjoy doing things the right way. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Javascript, React Native and React, as well as user experience design, code security, quality and sustainability. Experience with XRPL, Interledger and microservices will be useful to provide the depth we are looking for in this position. As a software professional, you understand the importance of coding clean, estimating, taking deadlines seriously, and interfacing well with other team members and teams. Required Skills: At least 5 years experience building enterprise grade mobile and web applications Deep knowledge of Javascript and both React Native and React Extensive experience with: User eXperience design Unit and system testing Software security concepts and best practices Track record of creating intuitive, effective and simple front end designs and implementations for both mobile and web Track record of writing high quality, sustainable, testable code using best software development practices Strong sense of software craftsmanship, professionalism and responsibility Understanding of Agile estimating and planning methods, and a record of estimating and delivering to schedule BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience Bonus Skills: Knowledge of XRPL & Interledger Experience with: Object oriented concepts and design patterns Microservice architectures SQL and NoSQL Experience with electronic financial exchanges and markets Experience with cryptography, particularly digital currency Key Technologies: Front End: Javascript, React and React Native Backend: Node, mongodb, postgresql, LevelDB, websockets OS: Linux
