About the Role We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support our rapidly growing software engineering team. This role will lead the design of scalable software architecture using Infrastructure as Code and work with developers from across different teams to create a highly scalable and reliable system on the cloud. The ideal candidate for this role will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform and possess good problem-solving and communication skills. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for infrastructure as code (IaC), software development, continuous integration, system administration, and Linux management. They will lead and manage the technical aspects of the DevOps team on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for a variety of services Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance and resource utilization Troubleshoot production issues Ensure site reliability of the infrastructure and maintain a disaster recovery plan Document DevOps processes and apply practices for Infrastructure as Code Automate processes for deploying new services Qualifications/Requirements Required Skills Hands-on experience in setting up scalable architectures and systems, with caching, message queues, databases, microservices, etc. In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts like pods, services, deployments, and secrets Experience in containerizing applications with Docker Proficiency in scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, or Bash 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform (Azure experience preferred and other cloud technologies, like AWS) Ability to set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices, and Kubernetes networking, and pod security policies Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and collaboration skills
