Project overview
I am looking for someone who can creatively revise scripts based on various problems: (1) Antiquated language (2) Antiquated themes (3) Lack of coherence (4) Lack of unity (5) Too many props, too many sets (6) Cumbersome stage directions (7) Difficult execution of particular effects (8) Too many characters (9) In Need of another character (10) More development of characters or plots or scenes These are just a few of the problems that several of my scripts have. Most of my scripts are roughly 10-12 pages (they are shorts), although I have a couple of longer pieces that will also need support at some unspecific future date. This particular job might also involve some editing, but this is more of a creative-writing task for now. I am looking to pay $1 per minute (roughly one page), so that's $10 for a 10-minute play, $11 for an 11-minute play and so on. All candidates should be fluent in English and with some interest in plays and the performing arts. Theater enthusiasts are a plus. If interested, please reply with your favorite play, before you even say "Hi." Failure to do this will lead to automatic ignoring of your application because it will confirm for me whether you read this far (and thoroughly) or not. Please also make sure to mention the name of the playwright. You don't have to imbed your favorite play in a sentence. You can just say the name of the play and the author, and then just start your proposal with a greeting. Like this: "Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare Hi Todd."
