Project overview
I am in the process of choosing among reputed universities in Europe, Australia, and America where I can apply for admission into four-year bachelors degree programmes in the fields of Humanities / Arts / Social Scieinces. I need a research assistant with experience in basic research to help me with carefully selecting and preparing a list of possible options based on the criteria given below. The person should be diligent in sourcing the required details from authentic sources, and present the information is an accurate and easy to act-upon format. The fields of study I prefer include: English Literature, History, Political Science, Sociology; but I am open to any other unconventional or interesting inter-disciplinary programmes that may be offered by reputed Universities. I need a list of 100 (one hundred) records containing the details of bachelors degree programmes in excel format. The attributes to be captured for each record are: Serial Number Country Location Name of Programme Name of University University Website Annual Fee Currency of Fee Equivalent Amount in USD Name of the Scholarship Available Criteria for Scholarship What does the scholarship cover? (eg. Living, tuition, travel, etc.) Amount (converted into USD) or Percentage of Scholarship offered URL of the programme description page URL of the scholarship description page Session / Intake for which I can apply Last date of application for admission Last date of application for scholarship URL where Admission application is to be made URL where scholarship application is to be submitted Is any other scholarship (other than the one recorded here) available for this programme? (Yes/No) The following three criteria should be used while selecting the programmes of study to be included in the list: Only such programmes / Universities are to be included which offer a scholarship / bursary / financial aid to citizens of India for the selected programme. In cases, where the University or an affiliated organization offers a general scholarship (i.e., not specific to that programme) for which Indian citizens are eligible to apply for studying the selected programme, those records can also be included. Sourcing the required information from other reliable online databases is also allowed. However, links to both the source of information and original University web-page with the programme / scholarship information must also be included. The information, in particular deadlines and last dates, regarding these programmes as well as scholarship applications should be valid for the upcoming 2020 session intakes in the selected Universities as I plan to join somewhere in mid 2020. The ideal research assistant should be comfortable communicating in English, be responsible, and adhere to deadlines. If you have any further questions about this job please feel free to ask before applying. The remuneration budget is negotiable but the quality of work and accuracy of information is not, though I am open to suggestions for making the task more effective and useful.
