Project overview
We are looking for a capable, responsible, articulate and available programmer. We are an unfunded startup that requires some technical input that is beyond our level. Right now we have a website (HTML5/CSS) that is being created in-house and a platform (HTML/PHP/CI) that is intended to manage the matching of people and requirements. GIT is already implemented to manage versioning/code control. We have a growing list of changes that we want to make to the platform. Before thinking about replying to this project, we want to know that you have a complete understanding of the platform. The reason is that we encountered problems where changes by a developer to one part negatively affected other parts - and we want to avoid this in the future. So, please 'private message' me so I can give you the URL and you can login/explore. The first sets of changes are going to be: 1) Fix some graphical and file upload issues left by the last developer. 2) Geolocation by IP address prior to login; 3) Geolocation by registered users address after login - and arranging matches by distance 4) User uploading files into the DB 5) Possible integration with Google Sign-In & Facebook Sign-In As our changes list grows, the process will be: - Internally, we discuss a potential change. - I document it. - You price it. - I give you the go-ahead - or not. - You do it. - You document it. - I test it. - You invoice - If all is OK - you get paid. There will only be one developer at any time on the project - so you are assuming responsibility for the entire solution. It all requires a high level of communication (we speak English/Greek) and trust - please focus on our desire to build a long-term working relationship where we can as our internal developer and part of the management team.
