Senior Operations Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our client’s Neo Bank. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience in banking or fintech operations, with a deep understanding of digital banking, compliance, customer service, and technology-driven operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Lead and manage day-to-day operations, including payments processing, customer service, account management, and digital banking workflows. Process Improvement: Continuously improve operational workflows, implement automation, and ensure efficiency across all operational functions. Regulatory Compliance:Ensure that all operational activities comply with relevant regulations, including AML, KYC, and other banking and financial compliance requirements. Risk Management:Identify and mitigate operational risks through rigorous process controls, audits, and risk management frameworks. Team Leadership:Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Customer Experience: Collaborate with customer support teams to ensure that customer inquiries and issues are resolved efficiently, enhancing overall satisfaction. Collaboration: Work closely with technology, product development, and finance teams to align operations with business goals and launch new products or services effectively. Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with third-party service providers, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to SLAs. Reporting & Analytics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in banking, fintech, or financial services operations, preferably in a digital-first or Neo Bank environment. Strong knowledge of banking regulations (AML, KYC, PCI DSS) and compliance frameworks. Proven experience in leading and scaling operational teams in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with payment systems, core banking platforms, and digital banking technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving operational processes. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred). Preferred Skills: Experience with automation and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Knowledge of API-based banking platforms and fintech partnerships. Familiarity with cloud-based banking infrastructure.
