About the Role ACES is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support IT Service Management (ITSM) and ServiceNow solution implementation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in designing and delivering comprehensive ITSM solutions, with specific expertise in ServiceNow. Strong analytical skills, coding best practices, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies are essential for success in this role. Contract Length: 5 Years Work Location: 100% Remote Clearance: Active Secret Start Date: Sept/Oct 2025 Key Responsibilities Debug and troubleshoot application and tool defects, providing timely resolutions. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance digital application development skills. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals. Implement and adhere to application coding standards and best practices. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability. Provide technical support to end-users, addressing software-related issues for digital applications. Participate in Agile or other development methodologies to ensure timely and iterative software/application delivery. Continuously optimize and improve existing software applications for better performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate enhancements into software application solutions. Maintain awareness of software application development tools and recommend updates or new technologies as needed. Qualifications/Requirements Certifications: Active IAT-II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC) Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university, and ten (10) years relevant experience. Technical: Proven expertise in designing and implementing ITSM solutions, particularly with deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform. Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting application defects, maintaining coding standards, and conducting thorough code reviews to ensure optimal quality and performance. Experience participating in Agile development methodologies and continuously optimizing software applications for enhanced performance.
