Project overview
We are seeking a skilled integration developer with proven experience working with Toast POS to help us integrate it with Cloudbeds PMS (Property Management System). The goal is to enable seamless data synchronization between the two platforms—particularly for guest charges, room folio updates, payment tracking, and reporting alignment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Toast POS APIs, webhooks, and middleware services, and understand hospitality workflows involving Cloudbeds. Experience with RESTful APIs, data mapping, and secure transmission of financial or guest-related data is essential. Responsibilities include: Designing and developing the integration between Toast POS and Cloudbeds PMS Handling authentication and secure data exchange Mapping transactions and guest charges to appropriate folios Ensuring data accuracy and error handling Creating simple dashboards or logs for tracking integration events (optional) Collaborating with our tech and operations team to tailor the solution to our business needs Requirements: Proven experience with Toast POS API integrations Familiarity with Cloudbeds PMS API (or ability to learn quickly) Strong background in RESTful API development Proficient in Python, Node.js, or relevant backend language Experience working with hospitality or restaurant systems is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Preferred: Experience with OAuth2, API key management, and secure integrations Knowledge of data syncing strategies and webhook handling Previous work on PMS-to-POS integrations We are ready to begin immediately and value attention to detail, reliability, and hospitality tech expertise.
