Zoho to Supabase Data Migration Specialist

Zoho + Supabase Developer / Team Needed for Data Migration and Ongoing Backend Support

Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced Zoho developer or small development team to help us migrate data from our existing Zoho environment into a new Supabase/PostgreSQL backend, and potentially continue supporting and maintaining the backend afterwards.

Our organization currently uses Zoho Recruit, Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, and other Zoho One applications to manage recruitment, candidates, employers, clients, and operational data.

At the same time, we are building a new recruitment platform with Supabase/PostgreSQL as the primary backend.

I am currently the main developer working on this system, but I will be leaving the internship after the initial implementation period. Because of that, we are ideally looking for someone who can do more than just perform a one-time migration. We would like to find a developer or team that can understand the overall backend architecture, help complete the Zoho migration, and potentially provide ongoing backend maintenance, support, integrations, and future development after the handoff.

The immediate priority is the Zoho → Supabase migration, but there is potential for continued work if the collaboration goes well.

Initial Scope of Work:

Review our existing Zoho Recruit / CRM setup.
Identify relevant modules, fields, relationships, custom fields, attachments, and workflows.
Determine the best method for extracting data using Zoho APIs and/or Zoho-supported developer tools.
Map Zoho data into our Supabase/PostgreSQL schema.
Migrate candidate, employer/client, recruitment, job, and related operational data.
Preserve relationships between records.
Handle custom modules and custom fields.
Migrate or appropriately reference attachments/documents where necessary.
Build reusable scripts or migration tooling rather than relying only on manual CSV exports.
Validate the migrated data for completeness and accuracy.
Document the migration and backend architecture for future maintenance.
Ideally establish an incremental synchronization process between Zoho and Supabase during the transition period.

After the migration, we may also need support with:

Maintaining the Supabase/PostgreSQL backend
Database schema changes and migrations
Backend APIs and server-side logic
Supabase Edge Functions
Authentication and permissions
Row-Level Security policies
Storage and document handling
Zoho integrations
Data synchronization
Bug fixes and production support
Performance and database optimization
Deployment and backend monitoring
Future integrations with third-party services
Supporting new features as the platform grows
General technical handoff and maintenance after the current developer leaves

Because of this, we are particularly interested in developers or small teams who can become familiar with the system and potentially support it longer-term, rather than only completing a single isolated task.

Preferred Experience

Strong experience with Zoho development is important.

Zoho certification or official Zoho Partner/Developer status is a plus, but is not required. We care more about demonstrated experience and the ability to work with Zoho APIs and complex data structures.
