I’m putting together a community-based program that helps children and teenagers build lifelong habits around healthy eating and emotional resilience. The core of the initiative is a series of on-site and after-school activities delivered through local schools, recreation centers, and youth clubs. Everything we create must speak directly to kids and adolescents, making nutrition relatable, fun, and tied to practical coping skills for stress, anxiety, and overall mental wellbeing.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A structured program blueprint that blends interactive nutrition lessons with age-appropriate mental health modules.
• Engaging session plans—think games, challenges, and hands-on demonstrations—that can be rolled out by teachers or community volunteers with minimal extra training.
• A brief parent-and-caregiver toolkit so healthy choices continue at home.
• Simple evaluation tools (pre/post surveys or checklists) to track changes in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours over an 8- to 12-week cycle.
Your experience in child or adolescent health programming, curriculum design, and community engagement will be key. If you’ve previously worked with evidence-based frameworks or have examples of interactive nutrition or mental health projects, I’d love to see them included in your proposal. Let’s give kids the skills to thrive now—long before preventable illnesses ever have the chance to appear.
