Sno Bird Productions is commissioning a photo shoot of a dachshund for an animated comedy series. This is a full copyright buyout, not a licence. If you do not assign copyright, this is not the job.
READ THIS FIRST - YOU SUPPLY THE DOG
We are not providing an animal. You must already have access to a smooth-coat dachshund - your own, a client's, a model agency's, a friend's. If you do not have a dachshund you can photograph, do not bid.
THIS IS A PHOTOGRAPHY JOB, NOT A DESIGN JOB
We are not looking for illustration, AI images, retouching services or graphic design. We need a camera pointed at a real dachshund. Bids offering design work will be ignored.
THE DOG
Smooth-coat dachshund, red or tan. See the attached reference for the look we are matching. Calm, patient, comfortable being handled and photographed.
NO COSTUME NEEDED
Shoot the dog exactly as he is. Wardrobe is added by us afterwards.
THE SHOOT
One session, roughly half a day. Studio or controlled outdoor light. Shot vertical, 9:16, at the highest resolution your camera gives.
WHAT WE NEED OUT OF IT
Many angles - front, three-quarter, both profiles, from above, from below.
A range of expressions - alert, bored, suspicious, pleased, half-asleep.
Sitting, standing, lying down, one front paw raised.
Clean separable background so the dog can be cut out.
TERMS
Full assignment of copyright to Sno Bird Productions, in writing, signed.
Worldwide, all media, in perpetuity, including merchandise.
The dog's owner signs a separate release covering commercial and merchandise use.
Both documents prepared by our counsel.
Payment on delivery and signature.
THIS IS NOT A ONE-OFF
The series runs long. If the first session goes well we come back for more - same dog, same photographer. Consistency is worth more to us than a low bid.
IN YOUR BID, ANSWER ALL THREE
1. Do you have a dachshund you can photograph, and whose is it? Attach a photo of the actual dog. A bid with no photo of the dog will not be read.
