I’m ready to hand over my completed YA manuscript—20 chapters aimed squarely at readers aged 12-18—and I need a sharp editorial eye on a tight schedule. Over the next two weeks, you’ll give the book a thorough copyedit and proofread that covers:
• Grammar and punctuation fixes
• Consistency and style refinement, following the Chicago Manual of Style
• Thoughtful notes on plot flow and character development where you spot issues
I’d like all edits made with tracked changes in Word, accompanied by a brief style sheet and a short editorial summary highlighting any bigger-picture story notes. The total fee is capped at the same $200 stated in my initial brief, released in full once the revised, clean file and supporting documents land in my inbox by the deadline.
If you’ve handled fast-turnaround YA projects before and can commit to clear, prompt communication over the next two weeks, I’m eager to work with you.
