Xero Financial Consulting & Bookkeeping

I’m looking for an experienced Xero accountant/bookkeeper to fully review, clean up, and correctly configure our Xero account for an Australian small business.

The work will include:
• Review and reconcile historical and current transactions
• Identify missing, duplicated, incorrectly coded, or unreconciled transactions
• Correct bookkeeping issues and confirm balances are accurate
• Set up and configure Xero invoicing properly
• Set up invoice email settings, templates, branding, payment terms, reminders, and customer-facing email messages
• Review and configure other important Xero settings so the account is properly set up for day-to-day use
• Set up staff/payroll correctly, including employee details, pay rates, age-related or award-related rates where applicable, superannuation, leave, tax settings, and payroll categories
• Check payroll compliance settings and make sure staff are being paid correctly based on the applicable Australian requirements
• Review chart of accounts, tax/GST settings, bank feeds, contacts, and reporting setup
• Configure Xero so future bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, and reporting are simple and reliable
• Explain any major changes in plain English before making them

I would prefer someone with strong experience in Xero, Australian bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, GST/BAS, and small-business accounting.
