Write Toddler Friendship Picture Book

I have an idea for a board-book style story that introduces toddlers (0-3 years) to the joy of friendship. I need a children’s writer who can turn this concept into a short, engaging manuscript that flows well when read aloud, uses simple repetitive language, and leaves room on every spread for bright, cartoon-like illustrations.

Here’s what I’d like to receive:
• A complete manuscript of roughly 200–300 words, broken into page spreads suitable for a 14- to 16-page board book.
• A brief note under each spread suggesting the main visual action so an illustrator can create lively, cartoon-style scenes that match the text.
• A one-sentence takeaway that reinforces the friendship theme for parents and caregivers.

The tone should be warm and playful, with plenty of onomatopoeia or rhythmic phrases toddlers love to echo. Characters can be animals, children, or imaginative creatures—whichever helps convey the friendship message best.

Once the manuscript is approved, I’ll move on to illustration. If you also illustrate in a cartoon style, feel free to mention it; otherwise, clear art notes are enough.
