I’m expanding my travel blog with a series of in-depth destination guides focused exclusively on Europe and would like help turning outline ideas into engaging, reader-friendly articles.
The task
Research one European city, region, or route at a time and transform that research into a clear, practical guide that helps travellers plan their trip. I’m aiming for a balance between inspiring storytelling and actionable information, so each piece should open with a compelling overview, then move logically through highlights, logistics, and insider tips.
Typical guide structure
• Brief snapshot: why the place is worth visiting
• Key sights, experiences, or neighbourhoods
• Practical details on getting there, getting around, and approximate costs
• Suggested itineraries or day-by-day breakdowns (when relevant)
• Seasonal considerations and any must-know local etiquette
Deliverables for every article
1. A fully edited blog post (1,200–1,800 words is a comfortable range; happy to discuss what works best).
2. SEO-ready format: H1/H2 headings, meta description, and two or three internal-link suggestions.
3. Attribution-free photos or links to suitable Creative Commons images.
Style & voice
Conversational, enthusiastic, and helpful—think experienced friend rather than tour brochure. Accuracy is essential, so please verify facts and reflect current travel requirements where applicable.
What I’d like from you in your proposal
• A brief note on your travel writing experience, especially for Europe.
• One or two links to published destination guides you’ve written.
• Your turnaround time per article and any volume discounts if you can produce multiple guides a month.
I’m ready to assign the first destination as soon as I find the right writer and look forward to seeing how you bring Europe to life for my readers.
